On the 22nd, the National Health Commission of China (NHC) announced that as of midnight, there were 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. Among them, 23 cases were imported infections from overseas, and 7 cases were infected within Heilongjiang Province in China.
So far, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in China stands at 82,788. There have been 4,632 deaths and 77,151 patients have been discharged. Currently, 1,005 confirmed patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, and there are 35 suspected cases. The number of close contacts under medical observation is reported to be 8,796.
The number of asymptomatic infections, which are not included in the confirmed case statistics, totals 991, including 42 newly added cases in one day.

Outside mainland China, in the Greater China region, cumulative COVID-19 cases reported include 1,029 in Hong Kong, 45 in Macao, and 425 in Taiwan, totaling 1,499 cases.
