The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 11 compared to the previous day.
Among the new patients, 6 were imported cases and 5 were locally transmitted. Two patients were identified during quarantine.
Additional patients in the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk region were 2 and 3 respectively. By region, Seoul, Busan, and Gyeongbuk each had 2 cases, while Daegu, Daejeon, and Gyeongnam each had 1 case.

The number of patients who were declared recovered and released from isolation increased by 64 to 8,277 compared to the previous day, accounting for 77.4% of the total cases. The death toll rose by 1 to 238 during the same period.
