In particular, quiet office IT devices have gained popularity. Sales of low-noise keyboards in the first quarter of this year increased by more than 16 times (1588.05%) compared to the same period two years ago. Sales of silent mice also grew 2.5 times (156.28%). This is interpreted as consumers trying to avoid disturbing others with noise in shared workspaces.
There is also a growing trend of incorporating 'silent' features in home appliances that emphasize high efficiency and high performance. During the same period, sales of silent fans and silent humidifiers increased by 8.7 times and 4.9 times, respectively. Wind-free air conditioners, wind-free fans, and fanless laptops are also gaining popularity.
