The Jeungsan Station public parking lot was established by securing the site through a lease contract with Busan Transportation Corporation, covering a total area of 1,300㎡ and providing 72 parking spaces.
Unlike existing subway stations in the area, Jeungsan Station did not have an attached parking lot or nearby public parking, leading to continuous concerns about the urgent need for parking spaces as station users parked along nearby residential roads.
The city faced difficulties in creating a parking lot due to the enormous budget required for securing land, but by smoothly agreeing with Busan Transportation Corporation to use the land under the subway tracks, it was able to promote the establishment of a parking lot at low cost.
