S-OIL Donates Sponsorship Funds to Orchestra for People with Developmental Disabilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] On the 20th, S-OIL delivered a donation of 100 million KRW to the Heart Heart Foundation at its headquarters in Mapo-gu to support the operation of the 'Heart Heart Orchestra,' composed of individuals with developmental disabilities, in celebration of Disability Day. The donation will be used to support music education for low-income youth with developmental disabilities, provide disability awareness education for elementary, middle, and high school students, and fund performances by the Heart Heart Orchestra. Since last month, S-OIL has been conducting a 'Relay Performance Campaign to Overcome COVID-19' to encourage citizens facing difficulties due to the pandemic. In the second half of the year, it plans to hold hope concerts at hospitals and welfare institutions. Over the past 11 years, S-OIL has donated a total of 1 billion KRW through initiatives such as the Sunshine Sharing Concert, disability awareness education 'Heart Happy School,' and scholarships for developmental disability performers.
