Geumcheon Visible Radio 'Malhaneun Eoulsam' Talkative Guest Appears

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) is conducting a visible radio program called "Talking Eoulsam" at Geumcheon Village Vitality Center Eoulsam, which is currently closed due to COVID-19.

"Talking Eoulsam" is hosted by the managers of Geumcheon Village Vitality Center Eoulsam (22 Tapgol-ro, Geumcheon-gu), introducing various news, stories, recommended places, and music related to Eoulsam.

The program consists of "Keyword News," which delivers Eoulsam news in an easy-to-understand way using keywords throughout the week; "Eoulsam TALK," where listeners' stories are received via group chat and shared with everyone; and "Introduced by Eoulsam Manager," which informs about nearby magic workshops (village art creation studios), recommended music, and lunch menus around the neighborhood.

Additionally, there are plans to introduce cultural spaces within Geumcheon-gu and conduct interviews with their managers in future programs.

"Talking Eoulsam" started its first episode on the 13th and is broadcast every Monday at 11 a.m. on YouTube. An open group chat room has also been created to introduce stories and communicate directly with residents.

A Geumcheon-gu official stated, "In these times when physical distancing is inevitable due to COVID-19, we hope 'Talking Eoulsam' will be a small comfort to the residents," and added, "We look forward to the interest and participation of Geumcheon-gu residents in Talking Eoulsam."
