Five Candidates Shortlisted for President of National University of Incheon... Joint Speech Session on 28th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon National University has confirmed five preliminary candidates for its 3rd president.
On the afternoon of the 17th, Incheon National University announced on the 18th that it selected five preliminary candidates after hearing the opinions of six applicants regarding the university development plan at the main building.
The preliminary candidates are Park Inho, Professor Emeritus at Incheon National University; Lee Changgeun, Professor of the Department of Trade at Incheon National University; Lee Hocheol, Professor of the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Incheon National University; Choi Gyeun, Professor Emeritus at Incheon National University; and Choi Byeonggil, Professor of the Department of Urban Environmental Engineering at Incheon National University.
The Incheon National University Presidential Recommendation Committee plans to hold a joint candidate speech session on the 28th, followed by policy discussions and evaluations on June 6-7.
Afterwards, the candidates will be narrowed down to three and recommended to the board of directors. The board will decide the final candidate before June 26, submit the appointment recommendation to the Minister of Education, and the president will make the final appointment.
