Busan Office of Education Selects 32 Education Professionals for Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Levels
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is selecting 32 education professionals, including supervisors and education researchers.
On the 17th, the Busan Office of Education announced the '2020 Public Recruitment Plan for Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary Education Professionals,' stating that they will select 5 in Early Childhood Education, 9 in Elementary Education, 1 in Health Education, and 17 in Secondary Education, respectively.
From next month’s 19th to June 3rd, a preliminary evaluation will be conducted, including on-site and online assessments by peer teachers. Then, on June 12th and 13th, the first round will consist of basic aptitude and competency evaluations (supervisory ability and planning skills), followed by a second round featuring mutual discussions and in-depth interviews.
The Office of Education plans to introduce online AI interviews starting this year. The AI interview provides an environment where applicants can fully demonstrate their capabilities and objectively and scientifically analyzes competencies and organizational fit based on neuroscience.
The final successful candidates will be announced on July 3rd. However, the schedule and selection plan may change depending on the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Jung Seok, Head of the Teacher Personnel Division at the Busan Office of Education, said, "We have introduced various evaluation methods to select competent talents in schools equipped with professional capabilities to lead future education," adding, "Through this, we plan to further enhance the innovative capabilities of Busan education."
