Honam University Conducts 'Environmental Cleanup' Volunteer Activity at Hwangryong Chinsu Park
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University conducted an environmental cleanup volunteer activity at Hwangryong Chinsu Park.
According to Honam University on the 16th, the Love Sharing Center (Director Jin Kyungmi) and the 34th Plus Student Council (President Kang Minwoo) carried out an environmental cleanup volunteer activity for about two hours starting at 10:30 a.m. at Hwangryong Chinsu Park (Jangnok Wetland) in Seonam-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, collecting various trash and waste.
More than 50 students and faculty members participated, collecting trash and waste left by visitors who came to enjoy the blooming canola flowers along the Hwangryong River area the day before, which was a temporary holiday for the April 15 general election.
They also conducted a campaign urging all Gwangju citizens to use Hwangryong Chinsu Park, a popular spot, cleanly together.
