In a statement released that day, the association said, “Lee, who served as president from 2015 to 2016, significantly contributed to the balanced growth of the venture industry by establishing a one-person creative business support center specialized in technology startups and advocating for the expansion of venture funds dedicated to women entrepreneurs.” It added, “Even after stepping down, Lee founded the venture investment company Y Alliance Investment, continuously discovering and supporting junior venture entrepreneurs and maintaining communication with the venture field.”
The association also stated, “With the global spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), numerous companies are facing crisis situations,” and expressed hope that “policy-making reflecting the voices from the field of small and venture businesses will be carried out so that small and venture entrepreneurs can overcome difficulties and anxieties and leap forward again.”
Furthermore, it said, “We hope that various policies that can improve regulations hindering business growth and invigorate the venture ecosystem will be realized, creating a solid venture ecosystem.”
