The U.S. Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Tour is expected to resume starting with the Charles Schwab Challenge (total prize money of $7.5 million) held on June 11 at Colonial Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas. The schedule was originally set to open on May 21 but has been postponed by about three weeks. On the 15th (Korean time), Golf Digest added, "The first few tournaments are highly likely to be held without spectators in accordance with the authorities' COVID-19 prevention guidelines."

The PGA Tour was abruptly suspended after the first round of The Players Championship, known as the "fifth major," in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and as many as 11 tournaments were postponed or canceled. The four major championships also faced schedule disruptions, with the Masters moved to November 12. The second major in May, the PGA Championship, is now set for August 6, and the third major in June, the U.S. Open, has been rescheduled to September 17. The final major, The Open Championship, was canceled altogether.
