'Mr. Trot' Lee Chan-won "New Song 'Cham Joeun Saram' About 90% Complete"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Trot singer Lee Chan-won told fans that he is currently preparing a new song.
On the 15th, a Q&A video of Lee Chan-won was released on the official Instagram of Star & Style magazine AtStyle. In the video, Lee Chan-won personally answered questions posted by fans on AtStyle's official SNS.
When asked, "Do you plan to release a ballad track?" he said, "If a good song comes to me, definitely. Regardless of genre, I am willing to release a ballad album."
He chose 'Chantto-baegi' as his favorite nickname and seafood cream pasta as the dish he is most confident in cooking.
When another fan asked what he wants to do when he goes to his hometown Daegu, he said, "It has been about seven months since I last went to my hometown," adding, "I miss my father and mother so much, and I want to go down to Daegu soon to eat makchang, meat, and chicken feet that my parents make."
On that day, Lee Chan-won expressed his desire to communicate with fans through SNS or YouTube once a busy period passes.
Regarding the new song, he informed fans, "My music is about 90% complete," and said, "I am preparing a new song titled 'Cham Joeun Saram' (A Truly Good Person)."
He added, "I think it will be released before May," and asked for lots of love when the new song comes out.
