COVID-19 Case Confirmed in Gwangju After Ten Days... Male in His 20s Returning from Overseas

According to Gwangju city and health authorities on the 14th, A (23), residing in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, tested positive for COVID-19 in the afternoon.
A arrived at Incheon Airport from Australia at 7:10 PM the previous day. Using his father's private car, he reached his home around 1:10 AM that day.
Although he showed no COVID-19 related symptoms, he visited the Seo-gu Public Health Center screening clinic at around 10:50 AM for testing, in compliance with Gwangju city's administrative order requiring all overseas arrivals to be tested within three days of entry.
He wore a mask continuously from the time of arrival and reportedly did not use the residential elevator, opting to use the stairs only. Additionally, all transportation was via his father's vehicle.
Health authorities have placed A's parents, who were close contacts, under self-quarantine and are conducting an epidemiological investigation.
