Gwangyang City Elects Jeong Si-hwa as the First Elected President of the Sports Council
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Gwangyang City Sports Council Election Management Committee (Chairman Park Ji-yoon) held a certificate presentation ceremony on the 14th at the city hall situation room, attended by about 20 people including sports council executives and election management committee members, to deliver the certificate of election to Jeong Si-hwa, who was elected as the first popularly elected president of the Sports Council.
As a result of candidate registration from April 10 to 11, Jeong Si-hwa, CEO of Si-gyeong Remicon Co., Ltd., registered as the sole candidate, and the Gwangyang City Sports Council president election was decided without a vote.
President Jeong Si-hwa said, "I am worried about the heavy responsibility as the first popularly elected president of the Gwangyang City Sports Council, but I will do my best to create a city where all citizens who love sports can come together by maximizing my capabilities."
