Revamp of the 'International Journal of Intangible Heritage' Website... Enhanced Korean Language Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Jonggil Lee] The National Folk Museum announced on the 14th that it has revamped the website of the academic journal on intangible cultural heritage, the International Journal of Intangible Heritage, to enhance Korean language services. Originally, the published papers were provided only in English, but now they have been translated into Korean and made publicly available, and the photos in the papers can also be searched in Korean. Membership registration and paper submissions can now be conducted in Korean as well. The International Journal of Intangible Heritage was launched in 2006 to promote understanding of intangible cultural heritage that should be passed down to future generations. It publishes one book annually, consisting of 120 to 160 pages. An official stated, “On the revamped website, you can check not only papers and photos but also videos,” and added, “We aim to develop it into a platform that delivers global intangible cultural heritage news in the long term.”
