Since the first online school opening on the 9th, the education authorities' Learning Management System (LMS) has repeatedly crashed, causing ongoing anxiety in the field.
On the first day of online school opening, the 13th, and again on the 14th, server connection errors occurred repeatedly on e-Hakseupteo and EBS Online Class. Yoon Minseok (18), a high school senior, said, "When I suddenly couldn't connect to EBS Online Class, the teacher hurriedly told us to watch related videos," adding, "I still haven't been able to download the class materials." Yoon said, "Interactive classes are somewhat better, but recorded video classes reduce concentration," and "More than 90% of my classmates take private online lectures."
On the 16th, 3.13 million elementary, middle, and high school students will begin the second online school opening. This includes 904,634 high school freshmen and sophomores, 898,610 middle school freshmen and sophomores, and 1,323,771 elementary school students in grades 4 to 6. Including the 850,000 middle school third graders and high school seniors who started the first online school opening, more than 4 million teachers and students will be accessing the servers simultaneously. Park, who has two children in grades 5 and 6 of elementary school, said, "The homeroom teacher keeps sending messages asking if the online connection on e-Hakseupteo is working well and if assignments can be downloaded."

First, the server for uploading and downloading learning materials on EBS Online Class will be separated, and a high-performance content storage system will be additionally introduced. The login system will be changed from a central login method to a school-based distributed login method, and consulting for situation monitoring is being conducted in cooperation with private companies such as LG CNS and KT.

e-Hakseupteo, expected to be mainly used by elementary schools, will expand its seven regional servers to twelve and has prepared server support for emergency situations. The call center staff, who can immediately consult if problems occur, has also been increased. The Ministry of Education stated, "We will strengthen monitoring of network stability and cooperation systems due to increased communication usage from online learning," and "If server resources need to be expanded, we will provide support promptly." However, since about 6,000 schools used as polling stations on the 15th will start online school opening after 1 p.m. on the 16th, traffic on the morning of that day is expected to be somewhat dispersed.
