Ulsan District Heads and County Governors Council Proposes Development of 'Public Delivery App'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheolin] Basic local government heads in Ulsan have decided to propose the development of a 'public delivery app' to the city.
On the morning of the 13th, Jeong Cheonseok, Mayor of Dong-gu, Ulsan; Park Taewan, Mayor of Jung-gu; Lee Dongkwon, Mayor of Buk-gu; Lee Seonho, County Governor of Ulju-gun; and Kim Seokgyeom, Deputy Mayor of Nam-gu, held a meeting of the Ulsan District Mayors and County Governors Council in Buk-gu to discuss the development of a public delivery app for small business owners.
The heads agreed on the necessity to develop and operate a public delivery app that all small business owners related to traditional markets and delivery services can participate in.
Amid recent controversies over monopolistic practices by corporate delivery app companies, discussions on developing an independent public delivery app have begun in Ulsan as well.
