38 Companies Apply for Private Developers in Public Housing Bids for Dongtan2 and Dasan
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation is attracting significant interest from domestic construction companies, with 38 firms submitting letters of intent to participate in the private sector bidding for public housing projects in Hwaseong Dongtan 2 New Town and Namyangju Dasan New Town.
According to recent bidding results, 11 companies including Daelim Industrial and GS Construction have participated in the Dongtan 2 A94 Block (sale housing), while 16 companies including Taeyoung Construction and Shindongah Construction have submitted letters of intent for the A105 Block (Happy Housing).
Additionally, 11 companies including Hyundai Construction and Daewoo Construction have expressed their intention to participate in the Namyangju Dasan Jingeon A3 Block (10-year public rental) and Jingeon A5 Block (National and permanent rental), which are being promoted as a single bidding project.
This bidding project involves supplying a total of 4,927 rental and sale housing units across four blocks in Dongtan 2 and Dasan New Town.
Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will accept inquiries related to the bidding on the 16th and 17th of this month, receive project applications on June 1st, conduct evaluations, and select the preferred negotiation partner within June.
