[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Two people in their 60s died from the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Daegu.
According to health authorities on the 12th, a 65-year-old man receiving treatment at Daegu Fatima Hospital died at 8:16 a.m. that day.
The man had underlying conditions including hypertension, stroke, and diabetes. He visited the hospital on the 3rd and was confirmed positive two days later after testing.
Earlier that day, at 5:09 a.m., a 66-year-old woman receiving treatment at Yeungnam University Hospital died. She had underlying conditions such as diabetes and schizophrenia.
