[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Broadcaster Kim Je-dong appealed to voters on the 11th, saying, "While major parties are good, I hope that party votes will amplify and draw attention to the voices of people like us, the 'deutbojap' (a slang term meaning 'those unheard and unseen'), in politics and society."
On the same day, Kim visited the campaign site of Oh Tae-yang, the Future Party candidate for Gwangjin-eul in Seoul's Gwangjin District, and said, "The Justice Party is good too. Minor parties like the Future Party or the Green Party are also good."
Kim, who revealed that he has known candidate Oh for about 10 years, said, "People often say politics is divided into progressives and conservatives, but I believe parties that stab the hearts of parents who have lost their children should not exist. It would be good if the Democratic Party plays the role of a conservative party, while parties like the Justice Party, Green Party, and Future Party compete with the Democratic Party."
Regarding the United Future Party, he said, "Supporting the United Future Party is fine, and supporting the Democratic Party is also fine. It's an individual's freedom," adding, "There are many parties, but shouldn't there be parties run by young people holding one or two seats? I'm not saying all established politicians should step down, but at least there should be youth representation and youth voices in the National Assembly," emphasizing this point repeatedly.
