[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Jeong-hwa, co-representative of the Minsaeng Party, criticized on the 11th, saying, "The ballot paper for proportional representation candidates in this general election is 48.1cm long," and added, "This is because all political forces, including the entrenched major parties, are desperately creating satellite parties through tricks."
Through a policy broadcast speech aired on MBC that day, Co-representative Kim said, "The one-day wonder party led by Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People’s Party, which does not field a single district candidate and only aims for proportional representation seats, is no exception," calling it "fake politics that mocks democratic citizens."
He said, "The Minsaeng Party first apologizes to fellow citizens for failing to prevent such a dismal situation," and emphasized, "We will propose and pass a law to prevent trick satellite parties with the opening of the 21st National Assembly."
He continued, "Fake cannot and should not beat real," and added, "Please vote excluding trick satellite parties for proportional representation. Please choose the Minsaeng Party, candidate number 3, who has run fairly by following laws and principles."
Regarding the ‘Nth Room incident,’ Co-representative Kim criticized, "Some fake politicians in Yeouido say, ‘They might have entered out of curiosity.’ Other fake politicians claim it is a political conspiracy," calling these "nonsense from fake politics that do not understand women’s anxious feelings."
Co-representative Kim said, "The principle of zero tolerance must be applied to everyone who produced, distributed, or purchased digital sex crime materials," and added, "No matter if it is tens of thousands, the identities of all involved must be disclosed and sentencing guidelines must be raised to enable strict punishment."
Regarding the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation, Co-representative Kim stated, "If we fail to revive the frozen domestic economy right now, a large-scale unemployment crisis will become a reality," and said, "Urgent mid- to long-term measures are needed to protect our jobs."
Co-representative Kim said, "The Minsaeng Party was the first to propose immediately providing a disaster relief allowance of 500,000 won per person, 2 million won for a four-person household, to all fellow citizens," and added, "It is fortunate that politicians from both ruling and opposition parties have belatedly accepted the Minsaeng Party’s claim and reached a consensus on universal payment."
