Dalbitjogaksa attracted attention even before its release as it was developed with the participation of Song Jae-kyung, CEO of XL Games, a star developer known for major MMORPG titles such as 'Baram-ui Nara' (The Kingdom of the Winds) and 'Lineage.' The game features an extensive world based on the fantasy novel 'Dalbitjogaksa' by author Nam Hee-seong, which was serialized for 13 years. Thanks to Dalbitjogaksa's success, Kakao's game content division recorded sales of 105.9 billion KRW in the fourth quarter of last year, a 6% increase compared to the same period the previous year. As of this month, the cumulative number of downloads has exceeded 3 million.
