[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Financial Group announced on the 9th that it will extend the 'Reliable Lunchbox' project for medical staff at key hospitals in the Daegu area, who are dedicated to overcoming the COVID-19 crisis, until the 15th of next month. Woori Financial provided daily lunches to 400 medical staff members at Daegu Medical Center and Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital, key hospitals in the Daegu area. Woori Financial explained that the lunchboxes, prepared with highly nutritious ingredients and health supplements, received great praise from hospital officials.
Son Tae-seung, Chairman of Woori Financial, said, "I hope the reliable lunchboxes can provide some strength to the Daegu medical staff who are quietly doing their best despite the prolonged COVID-19 situation," and added, "Woori Financial Group will continue to mobilize all its capabilities to take the lead in supporting COVID-19 damage recovery."
