Hyundai Heavy Industries Donates 10,000 Masks to Traditional Markets to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyundai Heavy Industries donated 10,000 KF94 health masks to Dong-gu, Ulsan on the 8th to help overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
These masks will be evenly distributed to 720 stores and street vendors in five traditional markets in Dong-gu, including Namnok Traditional Market and Dong Ulsan General Market.
A Hyundai Heavy Industries official said, "We decided to support local small business owners who are experiencing decreased sales and difficulties purchasing masks so they can work with peace of mind," adding, "We will do our best to help citizens regain their daily lives as soon as possible."

Hyundai Heavy Industries Group also conducted a 'Save Rural Fishing Villages Campaign' on the 7th of this month, and in February this year, donated 1 billion won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to overcome COVID-19. Additionally, as the first local company, about 400 employees participated in a group blood donation to help alleviate the blood supply shortage.
