Senior Representatives of South Korea and Japan on North Korea Nuclear Talks Hold Phone Consultation: "Continued Cooperation on North Korea Issues"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Lee Do-hoon, Chief Negotiator for North Korea Nuclear Talks from South Korea and Director-General Shige Takizaki of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a telephone consultation on the 8th to share evaluations of the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides agreed to continue close communication and cooperation between South Korea, Japan, and the US regarding North Korea's nuclear and related issues, while also striving to respond to the globally spreading novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
