On the 1st, Seongdong-gu signed a “COVID-19 Safety Diagnosis Program Provision Business Agreement” with Kyohaksa and the Korea Disaster Safety Health Promotion Institute. Through this agreement, they agreed to continuously develop and provide safety education content for COVID-19 prevention and to promote various cooperative projects for the health and safety of local residents.
The “COVID-19 Safety Diagnosis Program” began from the recognition that providing a proper safety education program to all residents, including students, is urgent due to the postponement of school openings for elementary, middle, and high school students amid the spread of COVID-19.
This program is an educational program structured to diagnose one’s coping methods for infection situations across 15 detailed diagnostic items in the areas of prevention, masks, early symptoms, virus knowledge, and infection routes, identifying vulnerable areas to enable personalized one-on-one customized safety education.
Unlike conventional rote or manual-style education, it diagnoses vulnerabilities to COVID-19 infection through lifestyle diagnosis via true/false quizzes about infection, allowing users to learn correct prevention methods. Upon completing the diagnosis, individual reports including comprehensive results, area-specific results, and error notes are provided.
By solving problems presenting specific situations, participants can indirectly experience their coping ability and awareness level regarding crisis situations. The lower the awareness, the more it can be improved through error notes and explanations provided in the individual report.
The district plans to enable any resident to easily participate via mobile by using QR codes on promotional leaflets and URL links sent through disaster text messages.
