Gokseong-gun Provides Temporary Living Support Funds to Low-Income Households
Provision of Gokseong Simcheong Gift Certificates to Stabilize Low-Income Households and Enhance Consumption Capacity
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that starting from the 7th, it will provide Gokseong Simcheong gift certificates worth approximately 1.1 billion KRW to 2,000 low-income households experiencing economic difficulties due to COVID-19 to stabilize their living conditions and enhance their consumption capacity.
The recipients of this living support payment include existing basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups (verification of near-poverty status, near-poverty self-burden reduction, near-poverty self-support, near-poverty disability pension, near-poverty disability (child) allowance).
The support amount varies according to eligibility and household size, with a minimum of 400,000 KRW for single-person households and up to a maximum of 520,000 KRW.
In particular, the temporary living support fund for low-income households can be received without a separate application process. However, Gokseong-gun notifies the distribution schedule by town and village via mail to prevent crowding of recipients.
Recipients should visit the town or township office of their registered residence on the notified schedule to receive the gift certificates. While it is principle that the recipient collects the support in person, legal representatives or benefit managers may collect on behalf of elderly, disabled, or persons with limited capacity.
