Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Actively Participates in 'High-Intensity Social Distancing'
Extended until the 19th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Moon Gisik) announced on the 7th that it will extend the implementation of 'high-intensity social distancing' until the 19th to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Remote work is actively encouraged up to a maximum of 30% of personnel per department, mainly for parents of young children, high-risk groups, and employees with long commutes, except for departments where remote work is difficult due to the nature of their duties, such as on-site dispatch departments and fire civil service teams.
The fire station expects that implementing remote work will reduce the density of personnel working in the office, preventing COVID-19 cluster infections and greatly helping employees with young children.
An employee who recently worked remotely said, "Being able to balance work and childcare has been very helpful for raising my children."
In addition, to prevent COVID-19 infection, a staggered commuting system is being actively implemented, and high-intensity social distancing behavioral guidelines are being practiced to minimize contact with others by refraining from going out and postponing gatherings.
