Korean Air Aerospace Business Division Achieves Level 7 in Productivity Management System
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Korean Air announced on the 7th that its Aerospace Business Division obtained 'Level 7' in the Productivity Management System (PMS) certification audit conducted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Productivity Center on the 6th.
The PMS certification is a measure that assesses the level of a company's productivity management system, and Level 7 is the highest grade awarded to companies with management systems capable of responding quickly and flexibly to environmental changes.
Korean Air received 'Level 6+' in 2017, and in this audit, it achieved Level 7 in six out of seven evaluation categories: leadership, innovation, customer, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, human resources, and processes.
The company explained that efforts such as establishing growth strategies through research and development and market development, business innovation, introduction of Google G-Suite, and building a smart work environment through the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) were key factors in receiving high evaluations in this certification.
