According to Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 7th, as of midnight that day, the number of confirmed cases increased by one from the previous day to 1,272. The death toll also increased by one to 50. The number of recovered patients increased by 13 to 879.
The new confirmed case is a man in his 40s from Gyeongju City, presumed to have been infected through family transmission. The deceased was a 78-year-old man who had been hospitalized and treated at Gyeongsan Gimcheon Medical Center, suffering from underlying conditions such as hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction, hypertension, and pneumonia.
The number of new confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk has been in single digits for eight consecutive days since the 31st of last month.

This includes 36 specialists, 108 medical doctors, 27 dentists, and 55 oriental medicine doctors.
