Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 7th that it has produced a video titled 'We Are 18, New Voters' for first-time voters aged 18 participating in the 21st National Assembly election to be held on the 15th.
This 5-minute 33-second video features second-year students Kim Yumi and Son Chanmin from Busan Information High School as models, answering election-related questions in a Q&A format. The two students ask questions in familiar Busan dialect and explain difficult and complex election topics in an easy-to-understand way.
The video received positive evaluations from the Ministry of Education and the National Election Commission for concisely covering essential information that new 18-year-old student voters must know. The Ministry of Education screened the video on a large monitor in the main government building, and the National Election Commission introduced it on their website.
The Busan Office of Education distributed the video to all high schools in the Busan area and shared it on Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
