She said, "There was a big misunderstanding regarding privacy invasion, so I corrected it and explained in detail about masks, which I couldn't mention during the Spanish broadcast due to time constraints." She added, "This time as well, Dennis Maerker, a veteran journalist and popular anchor with impressive credentials and style, highly praised our Republic of Korea's case and civic consciousness as 'an extraordinary case and even touching.'"
She continued, "Mexico, the largest economy in Latin America, has more than half of its population living in poverty, showing the severe wealth gap in Latin America, and lacks a proper medical system or infrastructure." She said, "In such a place where it is hard to even imagine how painful and tragic the times will be, my interview and the story of our Korea were of great help, and I was deeply moved as I repeatedly heard 'thank you'."
Finally, Son Mina added, "I will pray for Latin America, a land of tremendous history that heals with breathtaking nature and offers abundant warmth, affection, and love. Please join me in sending your thoughts."
Earlier, on the 28th of last month, Son Mina appeared on the Spanish current affairs talk show 'Mirror of the People' and gained attention by discussing the excellence of South Korea's COVID-19 prevention and response methods.
