Damyang-gun Extends 'Social Distancing' Administrative Order for 2 Weeks
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 6th that the administrative order to refrain from operating and comply with facility-specific guidelines for high-risk businesses such as religious facilities and indoor sports facilities, which was scheduled to end on the 5th, will be extended for two weeks.
Accordingly, indoor sports facilities, entertainment facilities, PC rooms, karaoke rooms, academies, and other facilities subject to the existing administrative order will have the order extended until the 19th.
These facilities are required to refrain from operating, and if operation is unavoidable, they must strictly follow quarantine rules.
Facilities and businesses that violate these rules will be prohibited from operating, and if confirmed cases occur due to violations, follow-up measures such as liability for damages resulting from additional quarantine actions will be enforced.
The continuation of these measures will be reviewed later according to government policy.
