Jang Byung-wan Receives 'Positive Response' from Voters with Neighborhood-Specific Pledges
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Candidate Jang Byeong-wan (Gwangju Metropolitan City Dongnam-gap) is gaining voters' support by unveiling region-specific tailored pledges called ‘Namgu Alley Bangbanggokgok’.
On the 6th, Candidate Jang stated, “The ‘Namgu Development 2080 Project,’ which takes responsibility from quality youth jobs to a happy old age, has begun,” adding, “This time, we are officially launching ‘Namgu Alley Bangbanggokgok’ to resolve long-standing projects in the Namgu area of Gwangju.”
‘Namgu Alley Bangbanggokgok,’ announced by Candidate Jang, is a tailored pledge that accurately identifies local demands by meticulously recording communication results with residents during legislative activities, and is evaluated as a pledge differentiated from rival candidates during the official election campaign period.
Candidate Jang first promised to solve traffic problems in Jinwol-dong, prevent noise damage caused by the Second Ring Road, and expand parks as resting places for residents.
To this end, the plans include ▲early completion of Jinwol IC on the Second Ring Road ▲installation of soundproof walls around the Jinwol IC entrance and exit roads ▲creation of a park through public development of the Jinwol-dong substation site.
Additionally, to solve parking issues around the Juwol-dong Green Road, he promised ▲construction of a public parking lot and to enhance administrative convenience for residents by ▲building a new Juwol 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center and ▲constructing a Juwol 2-dong Complex Community Center.
Furthermore, plans include ▲building a new Wolsan-dong Administrative Welfare Center ▲promoting redevelopment and sewer pipeline maintenance projects in the Wolsan area ▲establishing a safety park and resident communication space in Bongseon-dong ▲alleviating traffic congestion on the Songam-dong overpass ▲straightening and expanding the Daechon~Seungchon road, actively improving residents' living environments.
Candidate Jang emphasized, “‘Namgu Alley Bangbanggokgok’ is the result of continuous communication with residents, and plans for resolution are already in place,” adding, “We will create a ‘premium Namgu, a Namgu where everyone wants to live’ by resolving local long-standing projects.”
