Evezari Launches 'Highway' Bedding with Antibacterial and Antitoxin Functions
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Evejari announced on the 6th that it has launched a new bedding product, ‘Highway,’ applying the antibacterial and detoxifying functions of organic hemp.
Highway is an eco-friendly material product developed through research and experiments on nature, and it is the first Evejari bedding to use modal hemp.
Modal hemp is a material combining hemp grown without pesticides and chemical fertilizers and modal extracted from hornbeam. It has a 97.5% antibacterial and detoxifying effect, preventing bacteria such as Staphylococcus from inhabiting the fiber surface and causing less skin irritation. It also boasts strong durability and excellent breathability, making it good for moisture and heat regulation.
Featuring stripes in white, blue, and yellow colors suitable for warm spring, it highlights a casual sensibility.
The price of the Highway Q-size set, including a mattress cover, is 385,000 KRW.

Jang Jun-gi, head of the Evejari Sleep Environment Research Institute, said, “Evejari has been researching the strengths of natural materials for over 20 years and continuously striving to apply them to bedding. Especially in a time when cleanliness and hygiene have become more important due to the COVID-19 virus and fine dust, we hope to maintain a comfortable sleep environment with bedding enhanced with antibacterial functions.”
