Samsung C&T Plans C, Hyundai Department Store Store Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 6th that it has opened a standalone store for the Italian luxury brand Plan C.
Plan C is a brand launched by Carolina Castiglioni, daughter of the Castiglioni family who led Marni.
Plan C, which was first introduced last year through Samsung C&T Fashion Division's concept store 10 Corso Como, has secured a space of 40m2 (approximately 12 pyeong) on the 3rd floor of Hyundai Department Store Main Branch, thanks to the popularity among domestic women.
10 Corso Como, as Plan C's exclusive business partner in Korea, plans to strengthen their business relationship and continuously expand by opening additional standalone stores.
Plan C is characterized by its unique and creative use of colors, expressing a mannish mood that pursues an elegant yet distinctive fashion world.
In particular, geometric and floral patterns fantastically combine artistic sensibility with urban vibes. The brand showcased fun and uniqueness by printing drawings directly created by the designer's daughter, depicting her older brother and friends, on T-shirts and accessories, along with various color mix-matches.
The collection proposes a balanced look with mannish moods complemented by feminine details, such as jumper jackets, boxy sweatshirts, and floral pattern skirts matched with blazers.
Prices are set as follows: trench coats in the 2 million KRW range, jackets in the 1 million KRW range, dresses between 1 to 2 million KRW, T-shirts around 300,000 KRW, sweatshirts around 600,000 KRW, and bags ranging from 800,000 to 2 million KRW.
