Musical 'Vincent van Gogh' 5th Anniversary Performance Live DVD Release
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The live performance DVD commemorating the 5th anniversary of the musical 'Vincent van Gogh' will be released, announced the production company HJ Culture on the 6th.
'Vincent van Gogh' premiered in 2014, and the DVD being released this time contains the live recording of the 5th anniversary performance, which opened last December and closed in March.
The musical 'Vincent van Gogh' is based on over 900 letters actually exchanged between the painter 'Vincent van Gogh,' who lived a short but intense life of 37 years, and his brother 'Theo van Gogh.'
Composed of a total of 4 CDs, this DVD features numbers highlighting the sensibility of singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-a, a stage where van Gogh's masterpieces come alive through cutting-edge 3D projection mapping, and vivid high-definition performances by actors playing 'Vincent' and 'Theo.' Additionally, a 48-page booklet including messages from the cast and unreleased performance photos is included.
