Hyundai Glovis Provides Free Transport of 1,000 Tons of COVID-19 Relief Supplies
This Month, Personal Hygiene Products Scheduled for Delivery to the National Disaster Relief Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Glovis announced on the 6th that it has transported approximately 1,000 tons of emergency relief supplies free of charge to various regions nationwide struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Hyundai Glovis, the emergency relief supplies were prepared by the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and consisted of hygiene kits including masks, hand sanitizers, and wet wipes; food kits including instant rice and bottled water; and health support kits for medical staff including multivitamins and fatigue recovery supplements.
The relief supplies were transported about 200 times from February to March to self-quarantined individuals and medical personnel in need. In addition to free transportation, Hyundai Glovis plans to deliver personal hygiene products such as masks and hand sanitizers to the Korea Disaster Relief Association this month.
