Construction of Access Road to Pyeongtaek Poseung District... 15.9 Billion Won Invested
[Asia Economy (Pyeongtaek) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is investing 15.9 billion KRW to carry out the access road construction for Poseung District.
The Gyeonggi West Sea Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 5th that it has started the construction of the access road to Pyeongtaek Poseung (BIX) District, aiming for completion by the end of 2021.
The construction section is a 0.458 km road connecting Heegok-ri, Poseung-eup, Pyeongtaek City to the Poseung District.
The West Sea Free Economic Zone Authority expects that once the access road is completed, it will connect Pyeongtaek Poseung 2nd General Industrial Complex and Poseung National Industrial Complex, improving transportation accessibility for using the Seohaean Expressway, which will help attract industrial and logistics companies.

The development of Pyeongtaek Poseung District is a project to create industrial facility sites for automobile, chemical, electronics, and machinery industries, as well as logistics facility sites, on a 2.04 million square meter site adjacent to the Seohae Bridge. The site preparation work was completed at the end of 2019.
