Police Investigate Man Who Threw Stone at Women’s Party Member Campaigning for Election
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The police have launched an investigation into a man who threw a stone at a member of the Women's Party campaigning ahead of the April 15 general election and then fled.
According to the Mapo Police Station in Seoul on the 3rd, around 6:40 PM the previous day near Exit 9 of Hongdaeipgu Station, an unidentified man threw a stone at Party member A, who was assisting Lee Ji-won, the Women's Party proportional representation candidate, with her campaign. The victim was hit on the calf by the stone thrown by the man. At around 7:50 PM, Lee reported the man who threw the stone to the police.
