Gyeonggi Office of Education to Select 162 Supervisors and Educational Researchers
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will select a total of 162 education professionals this year, including supervisors and educational researchers.
Education professionals refer to supervisors and supervisors working in educational administrative institutions, as well as educational researchers and educational research officers working in educational institutions or research organizations.
The Gyeonggi Office of Education announced on the 2nd that it recently released the public selection criteria and implementation guidelines for selecting 162 education professionals, including supervisors and educational researchers.
By category, there are 137 general selections (13 for early childhood, 53 for elementary, 69 for secondary, and 2 for special education), 1 professional selection for student education planning, and 24 rotational appointment selections.
The rotational appointment selection differs from other selections in that candidates serve as education professionals for a certain period and then transfer back to their previous position without obtaining a higher qualification.
Teachers with more than 10 years of educational experience who possess professional expertise in the relevant field, as well as vice principals and principals, are eligible to apply.
The Gyeonggi Office of Education will conduct the first exam (teaching profession and general knowledge, curriculum, policy essay, online work evaluation) on the 30th of next month and announce the first-round successful candidates at two to three times the number of positions on June 9.
The final successful candidates will be announced on July 10. However, the schedule may change due to COVID-19.
Those wishing to apply for the public selection should refer to the detailed information on the Gyeonggi Office of Education website and submit their application documents to the local education support office by the 24th of this month.
Kim Tae-sung, Director of the Teacher Policy Division at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, urged, "We hope that many passionate educators will take an interest in the public selection of education professional candidates so that teachers with professional expertise at schools can lead innovative and future education and support school sites in various ways."
