NCSoft to Resume Normal Work Next Week... "Implementing 4-Day Workweek"
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] NCSoft will implement a four-day workweek throughout April. NC employees, who had been on a rotating telecommuting system, will return to regular office attendance starting next week.
On the 2nd, NC stated regarding the four-day workweek, "This decision was made to create a safe working environment and support employees' health and family care amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation," adding, "It will be implemented for four weeks from the 6th to the 29th."
All 4,000 employees will be granted one special paid leave day per week, which must be used. Special paid leave will be granted equally during shared holidays such as the 21st National Assembly election (4/15) and Buddha’s Birthday (4/30).
Additionally, NC will implement a full flexible attendance system throughout April. The existing commuting hours (7 a.m. to 11 a.m.) will be lifted to allow employees to avoid peak congestion times and leave work flexibly according to their personal circumstances.
