"Homeschooling Possible Up to Lower Elementary Grades" SKB Revamps ‘B tv ZEM Kids’
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] SK Broadband is significantly revamping its kids service, ‘B tv ZEM Kids’.
On the 2nd, SK Broadband explained that the revamp was initiated to strengthen content linked to the curriculum in response to increasing customer demand for homeschooling. Through this revamp, the B tv ZEM Kids category will introduce new menus: ‘Nuri Classroom’, ‘Elementary Learning’, and ‘English School’, with all content in these menus provided free of charge.
First, in ‘Nuri Classroom’, IPTV will exclusively offer PDM’s ‘Nuri Play’ content, the number one provider of multimedia teaching/learning for young children. The ‘Elementary Learning’ menu offers learning content for all grades and subjects in elementary school. The representative elementary textbook series ‘Manjeomwang’ by EBS, which supports self-directed learning for elementary students, will also be exclusively available on IPTV.
The ‘English School’ menu, dedicated to English content, categorizes high-quality English materials by learning level and brand to provide a foreign language learning environment suited to each child’s proficiency. It features educational programs based on the expertise of Yoon’s English, the No.1 English education institution, and offers over 4,000 English fairy tales and songs developed according to the U.S. public education curriculum.
