Boseong-gun Provides Disinfection Supplies to 1,351 Multi-Use Facilities
Full Execution of Special Disaster Safety Grants to Block COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yongcheol] Boseong-gun, Jeonnam announced on the 1st that it plans to provide disinfection supplies to 1,351 multi-use facilities on the 6th by investing disaster safety special grant funds (18 million KRW) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infectious disease.
The places receiving disinfection supplies this time include multi-use facilities such as academies and private institutes, public transportation such as buses, traditional markets, senior citizen centers, and workplaces where many people gather in confined spaces such as PC rooms and karaoke rooms.
The supplied items are two products: hand sanitizer and sterilizing disinfectant spray, provided in a form that can be used immediately without secondary processing such as dilution.
In addition, in cases where large spaces such as apartments, terminals, and religious facilities need to be disinfected, the health center or eup/myeon offices will directly conduct disinfection or use disinfection vehicles to perform mass disinfection to prevent blind spots in disinfection.
A health center official explained the disinfection guidelines, saying, “Since the virus is highly likely to spread through human hands, special cleaning and disinfection are necessary for places frequently touched by hands, such as door handles.”
