Gyeonggi-do to Fly 'Sewolho Flag' Throughout April
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will raise the Sewol ferry flag at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Southern Office in Suwon and other locations throughout April.
Gyeonggi Province announced that from the 1st to the 30th of this month, the Sewol ferry flag will be raised at the Suwon Southern Office, Uijeongbu Northern Office, and 15 affiliated institutions and business sites to commemorate the 7th anniversary of the Sewol ferry tragedy.
Currently, flagpoles display the national flag and the provincial flag continuously. Additionally, on various memorial days and events such as the Sewol ferry anniversary, related flags may be raised during the corresponding month.
Furthermore, among excellent certified companies in the province, if there are special merits, the company flag may be raised.
The province also raised the Sewol ferry flag throughout April last year.
