[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will provide COVID-19 closure support funds to multi-use facilities to encourage social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection and minimize the business difficulties of self-employed business owners due to recommended business suspension.
If business owners of multi-use facilities such as PC rooms, karaoke rooms, sports dojangs, and fitness centers in the area voluntarily close from the 1st to the 14th, a support fund of 1 million KRW per business will be provided.
The support targets a total of 401 locations, including ▲156 karaoke rooms ▲70 PC rooms ▲108 sports dojangs ▲67 fitness centers, which must close continuously from April 1 to 14.
Businesses that have closed can visit the Seongbuk-gu Office Culture and Sports Division by the 3rd to apply for the support fund. However, businesses caught operating during unannounced visits while participating in the closure will be excluded from the support.
