Kim Jaejoong "Caught COVID-19... It's My Fault for Ignoring Government and Surrounding Warnings"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Kim Jae-joong, a singer formerly of the idol group Dong Bang Shin Ki, revealed that he has contracted the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

On the 1st, Kim Jae-joong posted on his social network service (SNS), "I have been infected with the COVID-19 virus. It was my negligence to live while ignoring all the cautions from the government and those around me."

He added, "I am only filled with regret for how much an individual's actions can impact society as a whole and for those who may have been infected because of me."

He continued, "My foolish judgment, thinking it wouldn't happen to me, has led to my current situation," and added, "Reflecting on many past moments, I am filled with gratitude and remorse. I miss many people."
