Korea-Costa Rica Foreign Ministers' Call... Minister Kang Kyung-wha "Discussing Support Measures for Diagnostic Kits"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the morning of the 1st, Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha held a phone call at the request of Rodolfo Solano, Costa Rica's Foreign Minister, and exchanged opinions on cooperation measures between the two countries to respond to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Minister Solano stated that the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) is currently promoting the purchase of Korean diagnostic kits to supply regional member countries, and requested support for Korean-made quarantine supplies along with sharing experiences with Korea, which has excellent COVID-19 response capabilities.
In response, Minister Kang said that considering domestic demand in Korea, she would discuss support measures for diagnostic kits with Costa Rica as much as possible.

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, "Through today's call, the two ministers agreed on the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the global common crisis situation of COVID-19 and decided to maintain close communication in the future."
