30% of Salary for 4 Months Donated to Gwangju Community Chest of Korea
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo Daeseok, Mayor of Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has joined the COVID-19 crisis overcoming campaign.
According to Seo-gu on the 1st, Mayor Seo donated 30% of his salary for four months to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
Mayor Seo's salary donation followed the COVID-19 relief fund (10.64 million won) collected by Seo-gu public officials on the 26th of last month, adding warmth to the effort.
