The Director of the National Maritime Positioning Information Institute is a department head-level executive officer under the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, responsible for the construction, management, and operation of satellite navigation correction systems and terrestrial navigation systems, as well as responding to radio interference related to satellite navigation systems.
